The Land Trust for Tennessee (www.landtrusttn.org) is a non-profit organization committed to assisting individual landowners and local communities in meeting their land conservation goals. The group protects nearly 6,000 acres, primarily through the donation of permanent conservation easements.

Stites & Harbison attorneys assisted The Land Trust and its local partner, The South Cumberland Regional Land Trust, in placing a conservation easement on 208 botanically rich acres in the South Cumberland Plateau, which was then donated to the University of the South. Julian Bibb and Bryan Echols are two of the firm's attorneys who work on land conservation matters in Tennessee and Kentucky.
