Russell Brands, LLC (formerly Russell Athletic), one of the US's largest manufacturers and marketers of athletic clothes, uniforms and sporting goods, has been a firm client since 2001. Stites & Harbison has offered valuable assistance to Russell in a wide range of areas that include the following:

• preparation of licensing and distribution agreements;

• litigation of various trademark and copyright infringement matters;

• counsel in restructuring its international operations in Mexico and Latin America;

• development of various sponsorship and endorsement agreements with athletes and professional sports leagues including Major League Baseball and the National Basketball Association

• acted as lead counsel in formation of a joint venture between Russell and a yarn manufacturer; and
